Personality Disorders

Personality Disorders are diagnoses in the DSM-V (and previous versions of that diagnostic manual). These diagnoses refer to people who have chronic patterns of behavior that differ from their own cultural roles. They are typically rigid and often struggle with relationships with others. Many of their behaviors are perceived by others as personality traits and have typically been stable since early adulthood.

Personality Disorders included in the DSM-V include: Borderline Personality Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder, Avoidant Personality Disorder, Schizotypal Personality Disorder, Antisocial Personality Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
